I pray you enjoyed the Wednesday night praise meeting as much as I did. It is always a blessing to hear testimony of what God has done or is doing in the lives of fellow Christians. I know sometimes it is hard to put into words the feelings and blessings that come from His hand. Maybe it’s because words can’t accurately describe what truly happened or maybe you find it hard to choose just one blessing from your list. Either way all praise and glory goes to God.
I have offered praise and heard others tell of God’s mercy and blessings for many years, but it seems there is no end. I believe God’s mercies will continue for those who love and obey Him. Lamentations 3:22–25 reads, “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.” And seek Him we must. God is faithful, so to live for Him in faithfulness I will.
Carolyn shared a verse with me that will surely bring praise to a heart that loves the Lord. Job 19:25 reads, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.”
The first part of 2Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” One of my study Bibles defines perfect as fully committed.
What a blessing to know that God is alive and well, watching to show himself strong for me; to know that His mercy was new today and will be again tomorrow. I will not be forgotten. Blessings will come again. Praise the Lord!
